The LTO-NCR Regional Office has recently launched its own website (www.ltoncr.com), complementing the official LTO Central Office site.

This new platform aims to enhance communication and information dissemination by featuring regional announcements, public advisories, and an updated directory.

NCR Regional Director Roque “Rox” I. Verzosa III explained that the website is designed to address the backlog in plate issuance, assisting vehicle owners, especially those who purchased their vehicles second-hand, in easily locating and claiming their plates.

Verzosa said the key features of the website are:
1. Online Plate Inquiry: Users can search for Replacement Plates (green to white) and New Motor Vehicle/Motorcycle Plates, specifically those paid for at LTO NCR offices. The new white Replacement Plates have standardized plates for all registered motor vehicles in the country, replacing the old green plates since 2015.
2. Delivery Option for Replacement Plates: Clients can opt to have their Replacement Plates delivered to a District/Extension Office nearest to their address or one that is more convenient for them.

During the website’s soft launch from January to July 2024, Verzosa reported that over 10,000 Replacement Plates were issued, with more than 1,000 plates delivered through website requests. Many clients chose to claim their plates at the District/Extension Office where they were originally held.
Verzosa emphasized that the successful official launch of the website was a collaborative effort among all LTO-NCR offices, involving data collection, planning, implementation, and the final launch.
He also noted that the project will help reduce congestion at LTO offices, as people will no longer need to visit in person to check plate availability. This will allow staff to focus on other LTO services.
“The public is encouraged to stay tuned for future LTO-NCR projects aimed at enhancing service efficiency,” he said.
